Hospitalization and Care Institute
The clinical and healthcare activities under direct management are carried out at the Britannico Hospital of the San Giovanni – Addolorata Hospital Trust, under agreement with the Italian National Health Service.
Since June 2008, the G.B. Bietti Foundation has been conducting hospitalization, treatment, and clinical research activities at the Britannico Hospital, with dedicated inpatient beds and several specialist outpatient clinics.
The G.B. Bietti Foundation complements healthcare services with intensive scientific research, conducting clinical studies aimed at developing new knowledge and therapies for severe vision disorders, making use of the most advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies available.
Research Location
The patients who refer to this Center are recruited exclusively within Clinical Trials and specific research protocols and, for this reason, the services provided in this clinic are free and do not require a medical request as they are not at the expense of the National Health Service. With the contribution of the Rome Foundation, all diagnostic and therapeutic equipment was purchased and renovated for the creation of a highly specialised centre.
