**Irene Pandino obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry in 2020 at the University of Catania, discussing an experimental thesis entitled “Synthesis of photoactive amphiphilic molecules.” In 2022 she earned her Master’s degree in Chemical Sciences (Biomolecular Chemistry curriculum) at the University of Catania with final marks of 110/110 cum laude, presenting an experimental thesis entitled “A novel SPR-based method to measure diffusion coefficients: from small molecules to supramolecular aggregates.”
Her expertise ranges from solution- and solid-phase organic synthesis to Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), Fluorescence and UV-Vis spectroscopy, microfluidics and nanofluidics, molecular interactions, metal–peptide complexes, carbon quantum dots, and mass spectrometry
